PRIVACY POLICY

Effective 1 October  2026. Version 1.0.

This policy explains what personal information Audacia Audio collects through this website and our marketing, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@audaciaaudio.com and we’ll explain it properly.

Who we are

“Audacia”, “we” and “us” mean the Audacia Audio entity responsible for your information:

Singapore
AUDACIA AUDIO PTE LTD
133 NEW BRIDGE ROAD, #23-09, CHINATOWN POINT, SINGAPORE 059413

Australia
AUDACIA AUDIO PTY LTD
Level 12, 418 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010

Both entities are part of the same group and apply this policy identically. If you’re not sure which one holds your information, ask and we’ll tell you.

Audacia Audio is a global audio advertising marketplace. We work with brands, agencies and publishers – we don’t sell to consumers, and we don’t build advertising profiles of the people who visit this website.

Our privacy contact

Kym Treasure, Chief Executive Officer, hello@audaciaaudio.com. Post: Level 12, 418 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia.

This person is our Data Protection Officer for the purposes of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act and the Philippine Data Privacy Act.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you complete a form, book a meeting, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us:

  • Name, work email address, phone number, job title, and company
  • What you’re enquiring about, and anything else you choose to tell us
  • Meeting preferences and scheduling details

Information we collect automatically. When you visit the site:

  • IP address, approximate location derived from it, device type, operating system, and browser
  • Pages viewed, time spent, referring site, and links clicked
  • Cookie and similar identifiers – see the Cookie Policy for the full register

We don’t ask for sensitive information and you shouldn’t send it to us. We don’t collect government identifiers. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and this site isn’t directed at children.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

  • Answering your enquiry and arranging meetings. We use your contact details and what you tell us in the enquiry. Our basis is that it’s necessary to respond to a request you made, and to take steps towards a contract.
  • Running and securing the site. We use technical and log data and essential cookies, on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping the site working and safe.
  • Understanding how the site is used. We use analytics cookies and identifiers, with your consent.
  • Marketing to you about Audacia. We use your contact details and engagement history, with your consent, or on the basis of our legitimate interests in business-to-business marketing where the law allows and you haven’t objected.
  • Advertising and measuring our campaigns. We use advertising cookies and identifiers, with your consent.
  • Meeting our legal obligations. We use whatever the obligation requires, to comply with the law.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers who help us run the business, each under a written agreement limiting them to our instructions:

  • Website hosting and content delivery – WordPress
  • Email marketing – Klaviyo
  • Meeting scheduling and video conferencing – Google Calendar, Google Meet
  • Spam protection on our forms – Google reCAPTCHA
  • Website analytics – GA4
  • Advertising and measurement platforms – Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel, The Trade Desk

The list above is current and we keep it up to date

We also share information with professional advisers, and with authorities where the law requires it. If Audacia is involved in a sale, merger or restructure, information may transfer as part of that, subject to this policy.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising outside the advertising cookies you’ve consented to on this site.

Sending information across borders

We operate globally, so your information may be processed outside the country you’re in – including in Singapore, Australia, and wherever our providers host their services. When that happens we rely on one or more of the following: your consent; contractual protections requiring the recipient to protect the information to a standard comparable to the law where you are; or a finding by the relevant authority that the destination offers comparable protection. You can ask us which applies to you.

How long we keep it

12 months.

We delete or anonymise information when the period ends, unless we need it for a legal claim or obligation.

How we protect it

We use access controls, encryption in transit, vetted providers, and staff training proportionate to the risk. No system is perfectly secure, so if something goes wrong we’ll assess it promptly and notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires. Our breach assessment process runs to a 72-hour notification window.

Your choices and rights

Everywhere we operate, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we’ve used it
  • Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete information we no longer need
  • Stop using it for marketing, or for a particular purpose
  • Withdraw consent you gave earlier, including cookie consent
  • Explain a decision we made about you

Some markets add to this list – see the annex for yours. To make a request, write to hello@audaciaaudio.com. We’ll acknowledge it and respond within 30 days, and we may need to verify who you are first. There’s no charge.

Automated decision-making

We don’t make decisions about you solely by automated means that would significantly affect your rights or interests. We use analytics to understand aggregate site behaviour, and our advertising platforms select which audiences see our campaigns, but neither decides anything about you individually in a way that affects your access to a service, your rights under an agreement, or any benefit.

Complaints

Tell us first – hello@audaciaaudio.com. We’d rather fix it than have you escalate. If we can’t resolve it, you can complain to the regulator in your market; the annexes give the details.

Changes to this policy

We’ll post the updated version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you’ve already given us, we’ll tell you directly before it takes effect.

Consent. We collect, use and disclose your personal data for the purposes set out in this policy, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by the PDPA. Where we rely on deemed consent – for example, because you voluntarily gave us your details knowing we’d use them to reply – that consent covers only the purpose you gave them for. Withdrawing consent. Write to hello@audaciaaudio.com. We’ll action it within a reasonable time and tell you the likely consequences, which may include not being able to continue a service you asked for.

Access and correction. You can ask what personal data we hold and how it’s been used or disclosed in the past year, and ask us to correct it. We’ll respond as soon as reasonably possible and within 30 days where we can; if we can’t, we’ll tell you when we will.

Do Not Call. If you give us a Singapore telephone number, we’ll check the Do Not Call Registry before sending you any telephone, SMS or fax marketing, unless you’ve given us clear and unambiguous consent in writing to contact you on that number.

NRIC. We don’t collect NRIC numbers, copies of NRICs, or other national identification numbers through this website, and we don’t use them for authentication.

Complaints. Write to hello@audaciaaudio.com first. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg.

Purpose of use. We use personal information for the purposes set out in the main policy. We won’t use it beyond those purposes without your consent.

Provision to third parties. We provide personal information to the service providers listed in the main policy, as entrusted processing under our instruction. Where we provide information that isn’t itself personal information under the Act — including cookie identifiers, browsing history, and device identifiers — to a third party who we anticipate will handle it as personal information, we obtain your consent before doing so. In practice this means our analytics and advertising tags don’t fire until you consent through the cookie preference centre.

Your requests. You can request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or cessation of third-party provision of your personal information. Write to hello@audaciaaudio.com.
